Teletherapy

Cut the hassle and travel time. Do teletherapy at home.

Conducting therapy over the internet – ‘Teletherapy’ - is an increasingly common and effective means of targeting speech, language, literacy and fluency goals and is supported by research to be just as effective as in-person sessions.

Teletherapy can be organised to help families access speech pathology sessions if families need to self-isolate, find it easier to do therapy at home and/or find it convenient through normal school holidays. Teletherapy is offered to families via "‘Zoom’, which is a popular online videoconferencing service.

Parents are emailed a link to take them to the online appointment and then therapy is conducted by video, screen sharing and resource sharing. Parents will be encouraged to participate in the therapy session. It is good fun!
